Essential Rock Church believes in the
power of prayer
We believe prayer changes things. Prayer is our lifeline to God! We don't completely understand it. We are not experts at it. Yet, we never underestimate the power of prayers. We believe God desires a relationship with us, and we believe God listens to our prayers. He wants us to talk to Him, and He wants to answer us.
Jesus makes prayer a priority
He taught us the beautiful Lord's Prayer. He even made His creation the backdrop of His prayers...
He went out to pray on mountains, in the Garden of Gethsemane, and even in synagogues as well as a house in the upper room for the last supper. In God's word it's states: after He gave thanks, He gave them the bread and the wine. Prayer was modeled to us by Jesus, taught to us by Jesus, and it was truly a mission critical part of Jesus. It can be for us too.
Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
